Four Position Push Button Boxes

4‑position push button boxes are industrial enclosures engineered to accommodate exactly four actuator devices, such as push buttons, selector switches, or indicator lights, within one housing. These boxes are ideal for compact control stations, modular operator interfaces, and multi‑function panels requiring consistent layout and protection.

Technical Features & Selection Criteria

  • Materials & Durability: Most models use 0.063" carbon steel with powder‑coated finish (e.g. ANSI‑61 gray) to resist corrosion and abrasion. Stainless steel (304 grade) and plastic (ABS, polycarbonate) variants are available for washdown, chemical, or outdoor environments. PBT plastic offers yellow colored resin lids for easy locating.
  • Hole Layout & Actuator Sizing: Follows a 1 x 4 (linear) or 2 x 2 grid layout. Hole diameters support 22, 22.5, 25. 30. or 30.5mm sizes.
  • Depth / Extra‑Deep Options: Standard depth boxes accommodate wiring, contact blocks, and basic cable routing. Extra‑deep versions provide expanded internal clearance, which is useful when adding relays, terminal blocks, or dense wiring bundles behind the cover.
  • Ingress Protection & Sealing: Some designs meet NEMA 4, Type 12, and Type 13 standards or equivalent IEC ratings (such as IP66). Others meet the standards for IP65 or IP66/67.
  • Application Considerations: Use carbon steel in general industrial environments. For exposure to moisture, chemicals, or food processing, choose stainless steel or plastic versions. Always match the actuator size, ingress rating, internal clearance, and certification level to the system’s operational requirements.
