M8 Male Straight Molded Cables

The line of M8 male straight molded cables available through Major Electronix includes those from Mencom, MURR Elektronik, and Lumberg Automation. This type is known by its M8 size mating thread. They have 3, 4, or 6 contacts, with cable lengths ranging from 2 - 10 meters. Lumberg and Mencom cables are jacketed in yellow or black PVC, while the MURR M8 cables have gray PVC/PUR or yellow PVC. Mencom & Lumberg M8 cordsets have copper alloy contacts. Wire gauge sizes are 22 or 24 AWG. Proximity switches, small sensors, and actuators are all common uses for M8 connectors.
