Retrofit LED Utility Lights

The line of Light Efficient Design high bay and low bay utility lights are useful for applications such as parking garages, warehouses, gas stations, security, and municipal lighting. Many of these lights are part of the 8000 series bulbs, which are made to be retrofitted into existing HID fixtures. The LED-8036 series lamps have a slender neck, which allows them to be used in a greater variety of applications. Also included is the LED-9101M luminaire globe, which is compatible with this range of LED lamps. This range includes lights that use direct line voltage as well as those that are metal halide ballast compatible. The retrofit kits have a bolt-on housing with a universal mounting for base up, base down, or horizontal mounting. The two high bay luminaires come in 2 x 2 or 2 x 4 installations. The main difference between high bay and low bay lights is the height of the intended installation. Low bay lights are typically used for ceiling heights that are less than 20 feet. High bay lights are for installations higher than 20 feet. Switching them around may not be detrimental, but there could be an instance of too much light in one application or not enough light in another.
