M8 Extension Cordsets

The line of M8 male / female extension molded cordsets available through Major Electronix includes those from Mencom, Sealcon and Lumberg Automation. They have 3 or 4 poles, with cable lengths ranging from 0.3 - 5 meters. These molded cables have a male connector on one end and a female connector on the other. Most have two straight connectors, but a few have one straight connector and one right angle connector. Most of the cordsets are yellow or black PVC, however the Mencom M8 armored cordsets feature PVC covered stainless steel. Armored M8 cables are designed to stand up to corrosion and exposure to chemicals, perfect for harsh environments. The Sealcon versions are gray PVC. The Lumberg & Mencom M8 cordsets all have copper alloy contacts, while the Sealcon contacts are copper zinc alloy.
