M23 Hardwired Connectors

Major Electronix handles a varied line of M23 field wireable plugs. They are available in straight or right angle versions, featuring a solder cup or crimp pin connection with M23 mating thread. They feature plug-and-play capabilities and can be used in many different applications. Mencom's M23 hardwired connectors are constructed from nickel plated brass. They have gold plated copper alloy contacts with a 6, 7, 8, 12 or 19 pin count. These plugs are very durable and can last even when working under harsh conditions. These M23 plugs can accommodate a 6-9mm O.D. cable range and have an IP 67 rating, meaning they are protected against dust and can survive being temporarily submerged in one meter of water. They have a wide operating temperature range of 40 C to 105 C (-40 F to 221 F). Crimp pins for the M23 plugs are sold separately.

Due to the large number of product variations for Sealcon M23 field wireable connectors, the housings, inserts and optional contacts are each chosen separately. Inserts can have solder, dip solder or crimp contacts, with a 6, 7, 9, 12, 16, 17, or 19 pole count. Cable ranges can accommodate 3-17 mm cable, depending on the type of housing chosen. They have an IP 67 / IP 69 K rating with UL & CSA approvals. These signal connectors have an operating temperature of - 40 C to 125 C (- 40 F to 257 F) and are RoHS and Deca BDE compliant. Features include integrated strain relief, spring loaded socket contacts and the ability to install or remove crimp contacts without tools.
