Mencom MDC-4MFP-5M-A03 M12 Covered Stainless Steel Cordset, 4 Pole, Male/Female Straight, 5 M

The Mencom MDC-4MFP-5M-A03 Micro DC (M12) male/female straight extension armored cordset features a 4 pin insert, 22 AWG wire and 5 meters of cable. The body is black PVC with gold plated copper alloy contacts. Black PVC jacketed stainless steel armor covering yellow PVC cable, which is rated at 300V. Mencom MDC molded cable cordsets utilize an M12 coupling nut and provide plug and play capability for different applications, particularly for sensors. They have an A-coded single keyway and are also known as Micro-change connectors.

The 304 stainless steel armor that covers the cable prevents damage caused by corrosion, while also standing up to impacts and abrasions. The 304 steel withstands exposure from a wide variety of chemicals, and reduces the chances of contamination. The PVC jacket around the stainless steel adds a water tight layer of protection. Armored molded cables are especially advantageous in applications that are in harsher environments. Rated IP 69.
