Sealcon M16 x 1.5 Metric Nickel Plated Brass strain relief fittings, also referred to as cable glands or cord grips, are used in almost any industry to help customers connect cable or wire to different applications. This fitting has a NEMA 4x & 6 (IP 68 & 69K), 150 PSIG (10 bar) Liquid Tight Rating. The CF17DR-BR lets you increase or decrease the size of the cable opening just by trading out the inserts. The self locking ACME thread on the flex top ensures that the overlapping splines provide an even seal. This keeps the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting. It also provides your cable with pull-out protection without causing damage. Cable kinking or chafing is eliminated by using the flex nut. Cord grips with elongated threads are used when they need to go through a thick wall, or simply if a longer thread length serves the application better.
