Sealcon 1" NPT Nickel Plated Brass Multi-hole Strain Relief Fittings are also known as Cord Grips or Cable Glands. They are used to connect cable or wire to different applications in many different kinds of industries. A NEMA 4x (IP 65) rating is obtainable, provided that the cable is no less than 80% of the diameter of the hole. There cannot be more than .04" (1 mm) of difference between the diameter of the cable and the diameter of the hole. The fitting should be tested beforehand to confirm if the NEMA 6 (IP 68) submersible rating is possible. The ACME thread on the CD29NPBR dome top is self locking, so the overlapping splines apply an even seal. This keeps the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting & provides your cable with pull-out protection so no damage is caused.
