Sealcon 1/2" NPT Nickel Plated Brass Multi-hole Cable Glands, Cord Grips and Strain Relief Fittings are used when attaching wire or cable to different applications and can be found in almost any industry. This cable gland provides a NEMA 4x (IP 65) rating. In order to attain this rating, the cable cannot be less than 80% of the diameter of the hole. The difference in diameter also cannot be more than .04" (1 mm). between the cable and the hole. The NEMA 6 (IP 68) submersible rating is achievable, however it may need to be tested beforehand to ensure this. The ACME thread on the CD13N2BR dome top is self locking, so the overlapping splines create an even seal and the form seal does not come out of the fitting. This also gives your cable pull-out protection so it causes no damage.
