Sealcon 1/2" NPT Nickel Plated Brass Multi-hole Cord Grips, Cable Glands or Strain Relief Fittings are used by various industries to attach cable or wire to many different applications. This cable gland provides a NEMA 4x (IP 65) rating. For that to be possible, the cable cannot be less than 80% of the diameter of the hole. In addition, there cannot be more than .04" (1 mm) of difference between cable's diameter and the diameter of the hole. Testing may be required to determine if the fitting meets the NEMA 6 (IP 68) submersible rating. The ACME thread on the CD13N9BR dome top is self locking, with the overlapping splines creating an even seal. This ensures that the form seal does not come out of the fitting and also gives pull-out protection for your cable so it causes no damage. Note: Image is an approximation, actual part may differ
