Description

The Macromatic PCP575 is a three phase monitor relay that checks for phase reversal. This 8 pin plug in relay has a nominal voltage of 575V AC, with an output of 10A SPDT. The LED on top will be green if everything is functioning correctly or red if a phase reversal is detected. The diagram on top of the unit shows how the LED will indicate the current status. The PCP575 uses an 8 pin 70169-D octal socket. Note: Image is an approximation. Actual part may differ.

575V AC Phase Monitoring Electrical Relay

Additional Product Information

Applications that rely on motor direction, or where code requires phase sequence monitoring are most benefited from the PCP575. Please note if the system voltage is above 300V, this relay should be used with a 600V rated socket. These devices are recommended for heavy duty applications, such as in the mining or petrochemical industries. Many 575V applications are also found in Canada. This unit becomes energized when the right voltage is introduced, and the phases remain in the correct order. In the event of a phase reversal, the electrical relay will de-energize, or be kept from energizing if the error occurs on start-up. The relay energizes once the error is fixed, without needing a manual reset.
