Fandis FF Series fan filter assemblies move filtered air through electrical enclosures to help protect drives, PLCs, power supplies, relays, and other heat-sensitive components.

1️⃣ Match the Opening Size

Use FF08 for compact 4" x 4" cutouts, FF12 for 6" x 6", FF13 for 8" x 8", FF15 for 10" x 10", and FF20 for 12" x 12" enclosure cooling.

2️⃣ Pick the Airflow

Choose higher CFM for panels with drives, transformers, dense wiring, or high ambient temperatures. Available ratings range from 15 CFM to 434.1 CFM.

3️⃣ Match the Voltage

Select 115 VAC, 230 VAC, or 24 VDC based on the control panel power available inside the enclosure.

4️⃣ Confirm Color & Protection

Choose RAL 7035 gray or RAL 9005 black housings. Select Type 3R versions when outdoor rain protection is required.

🌬️ Airflow Setup for Control Cabinet Cooling

For most electrical enclosures, install the fan filter low on the cabinet to pull cooler air in, then place the exhaust filter high on the opposite side so hot air can exit.

• Keep airflow paths clear of wire duct and large components.
• Replace dirty filter media before airflow drops and heat builds up.
• Use higher CFM models for larger cabinets or higher heat loads.

Use a Fan Filter When:

• The panel has heat-generating components.
• Ambient air is cooler than the enclosure target temperature.
• Filtered forced-air cooling is acceptable for the environment.

Installation Tips:

• Mount intake low and exhaust high.
• Leave open space around the fan and filter media.
• Check filter condition during routine maintenance.

Selection Rules:

• Match voltage before comparing airflow.
• Size up when the enclosure is packed or located in warmer areas.
• Use matching color and protection style for the cabinet.
