Sealcon Elongated PG 36 Nickel Plated Brass cable glands, also known as cord grips or strain relief fittings, are used to assist customers in almost any industry when attaching cable or wire to their applications. It can provide a NEMA 4x & 6 (IP 68 & 69K), 150 PSIG (10 bar) Liquid Tight Rating. The CD36CA-BR lets you increase or decrease the size of the cable opening just by switching out the inserts. The ACME thread on the dome top is self locking, ensuring that the overlapping splines create an even seal, preventing the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting. Pull-out protection is provided for your cable without damage being caused. Using elongated threads is common when the cord grip goes through a thick wall, or simply if a longer thread length serves the application better.
