Sealcon Elongated PG 42 Nylon / Plastic cable glands are used when connecting wire or cable to different applications in almost any industry. Also known as a strain relief fitting or cord grip, it can provide a NEMA 4x & 6 (IP 68 & 69K), 150 PSIG (10 bar) Liquid Tight Rating. Elongated threads are most often used when the fitting has to go through a thick wall, or simply if a longer thread length better serves the application. Sealcon has patented overlapping clamping splines & recessed custom grommets that keep your cable protected from damage and the elements. The CD42CA-GY liquid tight cord grip provides a large amount of Pull-out resistance by applying an even force on all points of the cable.
