Triple Entry Push Button Boxes

3‑position push button boxes are engineered enclosures designed to house three control actuators (such as push buttons, selector switches, or indicator lights) in a linear layout. They provide robust protection, structured mounting, and simplified wiring for control panels and safety systems.

Technical Features & Selection Guidelines

  • Material & Construction: Enclosures can be made from 0.063" carbon steel with ANSI‑61 gray powder coating, offering durability and corrosion resistance. For more demanding environments, stainless steel (e.g. 304 grade) or fiberglass options exist for washdown, chemical, or corrosive conditions. PBT plastic features colored yellow lids to make them easier to spot. Other plastic options include ABS or polycarbonate.
  • Hole Size: Models are sized for 22, 22.5, 25, 30, or 30.5mm hole diameters. Some variants use sloped-front configurations for alternate ergonomics.
  • Extra‑Deep Configurations: For bulkier internal components or dense wiring, extra‑deep versions (4.75" depth) are available.
  • Sealing & Ingress Protection: Most of the 3‑position boxes meet NEMA Types 4, 12, 13, and IEC IP66 standards, offering protection against dust, oil, water spray, and washdown conditions. Others meet IP 65 or IP 66/67 standards.
  • Application Guidance: Use carbon steel or plastic models for general factory environments. For food processing or corrosion-prone areas, opt for stainless steel or fiberglass boxes. For use with emergency stop switches, the yellow lid PBT plastic models are ideal. Ensure actuator compatibility, internal clearance, ingress rating, and certification before selection.
