Having a longer thread length is necessary if the strain relief fitting has to go through a thicker panel or wall. Aside from the thread length, the size of the cord grip remains the same as the standard version. They are available in gray or black, with standard or reduced inserts. Inserts can be switched out if needed to increase adaptability. Using the flex style cord grip keeps the cable from kinking or chafing.
