The DuraChoice TW603H-40 heavy duty stainless steel 316 thermowell has a 4" stem length with 1/2" NPT female thread and 3/4" NPT male thread. Features a 1 piece solid bar construction. Thermowells protect thermometers and other instruments from corrosive or abrasive substances. The thermometer stem sits inside the thermowell, which can convey the level of heat from the object. Using a thermowell also lets the thermometer be removed for replacement or repair, without damaging the tested object. Note: Stem length includes thread length.
