The DuraChoice TW6H90 heavy duty stainless steel 316 thermowell has a 9" stem length with 1/2" NPT female thread and 1/2" NPT male thread. Solid construction. Thermowells protect thermometers and similar equipment from corrosive substances. The thermometer stem sits inside the thermowell, which transfers the level of heat from the object. Thermowells also let the thermometer be removed if needed, without risking damaging the tested object. Note: Stem length includes thread length.
