The Saginaw SCE-14087CHQRFG protects control, power-distribution and instrumentation components where moisture, chemicals, salt air or severe weather can damage a conventional enclosure. Its non-metallic body is suited to industrial plants, mines, oil and gas facilities, marine locations and exposed equipment installations.
High-Strength Fiberglass Protection with Open Side-Wall Access
This Saginaw fiberglass junction enclosure is compression molded from polyester reinforced with glass fibers. The material delivers strong impact performance at less weight than steel, resists corrosion and many chemicals, and electrically isolates installed equipment. Its flame-retardant construction meets UL94-5V requirements and remains suitable for service from -70°F to +270°F.
The Junction Series pairs a flange-mounted base with a cover that extends slightly over the enclosure edges. The hinged, latched cover reinforces the perimeter while leaving the side walls clear for cable entries, conduit fittings and controls. Molded mounting strips and panel inserts support organized component installation, and the enclosure can accept a standard back panel when one is required.

📐 Cover Design
The cover extends over the flange-mounted base to strengthen the enclosure perimeter. Because the hinge and latches are integrated with this cover-and-base arrangement, the side walls remain available for field modifications and component placement.
🔧 Panel and Installation Notes
A sub-panel is not included. Use the built-in panel-mount inserts with a compatible standard back panel, then plan cable-entry locations so wiring clearances and the enclosure seal are maintained. Select fittings with environmental ratings appropriate for the installation.
