The Macromatic TCF8F is an over temperature & seal leak relay. This 11 Pin plug-in relay has an input voltage of 24V. The deadfront inner door mounted relay is made to monitor for leaks in submersible pump seals, as well as over temperature issues. It has an output of 7A SPDT and is made for pumps with CLS or FLS leak sensors. The housing style allows the relay to be mounted and used without needing to open the door. LEDs indicate the status. Includes 11 pin OR11-PC back mounted socket.

The relay is connected to a the FLS or CLS sensor which is connected in series with the over temperature switch. There is one output contact for overheating and one for seal leaks, which are isolated. When the input voltage is introduced, and there are no errors, the over temperature relay is energized & the seal leak relay is not. The LEDs are green. If overheating occurs, the over temperature relay de-energizes and the TEMP LED is red. Once the overheating has been corrected, the relay resets manually or automatically. A selector switch allows the user to choose between manual or automatic reset. Manual reset takes place by pushing the button on top. In the event of a seal leak, when the leakage sensor opens, the seal leak relay energizes & the SEAL LED is red. The LED flashes red when the fault is cleared and will also flash red in automatic mode for the TEMP LED. They will alternate flashing red if there is a short in the sensor wire.
