Sealcon PG 21 Nickel Plated Brass Multi-hole strain relief fittings, also known as cord grips or cable glands, are used when connecting cable to various applications in many industries. This fitting is able to provide a NEMA 4x (IP 65) rating. To achieve this rating, the cable cannot be less than 80% of the diameter of the hole. Also, the difference between the diameter of the cable and the diameter of the hole cannot be more than .04" (1 mm). Testing may be required to make sure the NEMA 6 (IP 68) submersible rating is possible. The ACME thread on the CD21A7BR dome top is self locking, with the overlapping splines applying an even seal. This prevents the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting & provides your cable with pull-out protection so it causes no damage.
