Sealcon PG 21 Nickel Plated Brass Multi-hole cable glands, sometimes called strain relief fittings or cord grips, are used in many industries when connecting wire or cable to different applications. This strain relief fitting can provide a NEMA 4x (IP 65) rating. To reach this rating, the cable cannot be less than 80% of the diameter of the hole. The difference in diameter between the cable and the hole also cannot be more than .04" (1 mm). Testing may be needed to confirm if the NEMA 6 (IP 68) submersible rating is possible. The ACME thread on the CD21A1BR dome top is self locking, with the overlapping splines applying an even seal. This prevents the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting. It also provides your cable with pull-out protection so it causes no damage.
