The SPP K 1G small-size insert slides into a compatible DES cable entry frame. Its pierceable double membrane is designed for a cable without an attached connector, and the unopened membrane can serve as a blank until the cable entry is required.
Pierceable Cable Entry for Unterminated Cables
The AerosUSA 1731021110 SPP K 1G insert provides one pierceable cable entry for cable diameters from 0.1"-0.28" (2.5-7mm). The cable pushes through the double membrane, making this style suitable for unterminated cables and allowing the insert to remain sealed as a blank before use.
The UV-resistant Gray TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) construction is halogen- and silicone-free. When correctly installed as part of the DES system, the insert supports IP66 protection against dust and powerful water jets. Inserts are packaged in quantities of 10 and are sold separately from the cable entry frame.
