The straight Sealcon strain relief fittings feature a molded groove for O-Rings, however the snap elbows and some of the conduit fittings do not have recess for an O-Ring. For these instances, a seal ring is the best choice, unless a recess can be beveled to fit an O-Ring. Use Seal Rings when one of these to a control panel and secure them with a locking nut when a NEMA 4x or 6 (European IP 68 - submersible) rating is necessary.
