Sealcon CD07CR-RV: High-Temperature PVDF/Viton Nickel-Plated Brass Cable Gland, PG 7
Elongated-thread nickel-plated brass cable gland with PVDF clamping components and Viton sealing elements for 0.08–0.20 in. (2–5 mm) cable. Rated from -35°C to 150°C, it supports liquid-tight cable entries exposed to extreme temperatures and aggressive chemicals.
✅ Built for Heat and Chemical Exposure
Select the CD07CR-RV for PG 7 cable entries that require higher temperature capability and upgraded chemical resistance. The fitting combines a nickel-plated brass body, PVDF clamping insert, Viton insert, and Viton seal. It accepts 0.08–0.20 in. (2–5 mm) cable and operates from -35°C to 150°C (-31°F to 302°F).
High-Temperature Liquid-Tight Strain Relief
The Sealcon CD07CR-RV cable gland is designed for process equipment, industrial enclosures, and other installations where standard sealing materials may not tolerate the temperature or chemical environment. Its nickel-plated brass body provides mechanical durability, while PVDF and Viton components improve resistance to heat and chemical exposure.
A self-locking ACME dome thread closes the overlapping splines concentrically around the cable. This action retains the form seal, provides pull-out protection, and avoids uneven pressure on the cable jacket. The elongated thread adds reach where the gland must pass through a thicker wall.

⚠️ Confirm Material Compatibility
Verify the PG 7 thread, 0.08–0.20 in. (2–5 mm) cable range, temperature limits, and chemical compatibility for the actual process media. High-temperature capability does not replace an application-specific compatibility review.
🔧 Installation Notes
Check the environment: Confirm that nickel-plated brass, PVDF, and Viton are compatible with the operating temperature and chemicals.
Protect the sealing surfaces: Keep the PVDF and Viton components clean while routing the cable.
Tighten concentrically: Close the dome until the cable is retained and sealed without overtightening.
🏭 Typical Applications
Process and chemical-handling equipment
High-temperature industrial enclosures
Washdown machinery
Instrumentation exposed to oils, fuels, acids, or alkalis
