Sealcon metric M40 x 1.5 nylon plastic hazardous location (Hazloc) cable glands are used in applications that require exceptional performance and fire resistance, which is done without twisting the cable. Also known as strain relief fittings or cord grips, they provide a NEMA 4x & 6 (IP 68 & 69K), 150 PSIG (10 bar) Liquid Tight Rating. It is made from fiber reinforced nylon plastic, for greater resistance to impact. It meets the DIN EN 60079-0: 2012 standard. Hazardous location cable glands are ATEX approved, as they are designed for potentially explosive environments. This fitting is designated Ex-e, indicating increased safety. Increase adaptability by switching out the standard and reduced inserts. Sealcon patented overlapping clamping splines and recessed custom grommets help protect your cable from damage and the elements. The CD40MR-BXA cord grip provides a large amount of Pull-out resistance by supplying a concentric force on all points of the cable.
