Overview
The Sealcon CD09A4-BR provides a compact cable entry for two small cables or wires through a single PG 9 fitting. Its nickel-plated brass body, Buna-N seal, Nylon 6/6 splined bushing, and Buna-N O-ring combine mechanical support with sealing at the cable entry. The two-hole insert has a hole diameter of 0.07 inches (1.7 mm) per opening.

Sealing Performance and Cable Fit
The fitting provides an IP65 / NEMA 4X rating when the cable fit meets the sealing requirements. Each cable must have a diameter of at least 80% of the insert hole diameter. The difference between the cable diameter and hole diameter must also be no greater than 0.04 inches (1 mm). Check both conditions when selecting the cable and insert.
An IP68 / NEMA 6 submersible rating may be achievable with an ideal fit. Application testing may be needed to confirm that performance. Do not assume the submersible rating applies to every cable and installation.

Installation and Selection Notes
- Confirm the PG 9 thread and 0.60-inch (15.2 mm) through-hole diameter match the enclosure entry arrangement.
- Allow clearance for the 0.83-inch (21 mm) body length and 0.24-inch (6 mm) thread length.
- Both the dome and body have 0.67-inch (17 mm) wrench flats.
- Check each cable against the 1.7 mm insert hole size and the IP65 / NEMA 4X cable-fit requirements.
- Order the locking nut separately when required for the mounting arrangement.
- Evaluate cable fit and test the completed installation if IP68 / NEMA 6 submersible performance is required.
