The 69-88072 power connector is designed to create optimum safety by minimizing the chances of arc flash. The compact design of the Meltric DSN Decontactor series does not much space. It creates a watertight assembly when connected with the right female receptacle, so it works well in wet or washdown applications in industrial environments. These connectors also have plug and play capability for a quick, easy disconnect, making for a more streamlined operation by having less downtime.
Silver nickel contacts: 85% silver, 15% nickel combination. Creates a durable and highly conductive contact point. Oxidation or tarnishing will not greatly affect its contact resistance. Withstands repeated connecting and disconnecting
Lockout tagout capability: A 5/16" hole in the plug housing makes it simple to use a padlock on the plug if necessary, in order to keep it from being inserted into a receptacle.
