Steady LED Equipment Status Indication
The steady red light provides a continuous visual indication for an assigned machine or process state. Its single-tier design suits installations that need one dedicated status signal. The 56 mm lens presents the indication above the mounting point, while the prewired lead connects the light to the equipment's signaling circuit.
Lens Design and Construction
The PRE series uses a prism-cut polycarbonate lens to distribute illumination consistently. The light tower arrives preassembled, reducing assembly work before mounting. Its 152 mm height and 56 mm diameter describe the tower only, so allow additional space for the selected pole, base, or wall bracket.
Features and Benefits
- A red lens provides a dedicated visual status indication.
- Steady LED operation provides continuous illumination when the signal is active.
- Prism-cut polycarbonate distributes light consistently across the lens.
- Preassembled construction and a 25-inch lead simplify preparation for installation.
- IP56 protection covers harmful dust deposits and powerful water jets from any direction.
Applications
Use the PRE-101-R for a dedicated status indication on machinery, operator stations, production cells, or process equipment. The red lens can identify a designated fault or stopped condition under the facility's signaling scheme. Its single-tier format suits installations where one continuous visual signal communicates the required equipment state.
Mounting Options
- Pole mounting: Use a compatible pole and base.
- Wall mounting: Use a pole with a MAP-DS40 wall bracket, a pole and base with a MAP-DS30 or MAM-DS28 wall bracket, or a threaded pole with a wall bracket.
- Surface mounting: Use a 22 mm MAP-0022 pole with a base, or a threaded 43 mm MAP-M043 pole. Insert the threaded pole through a predrilled hole and secure it with lock nuts on both sides.
Wiring and Installation Notes
A 750 mm or 1000 mm mounting pole requires a longer lead than the standard 25-inch lead. The lead can be modified during installation or by the factory upon request. Plan the wiring length before selecting the mounting pole.
Match the power supply to the 12V AC/DC rating and account for the 0.054 A current consumption. The recommended wire specification is UL 1007 / 22 AWG. Select the mounting arrangement for the equipment layout and keep operation within the specified temperature limits.
