Sealcon metric M50 x 1.5 nylon plastic hazardous location (Hazloc) cable glands are used in applications that require exceptional performance and fire resistance, which is accomplished without twisting the cable. Also known as strain relief fittings or cord grips, they provide a NEMA 4x & 6 (IP 68 & 69K), 150 PSIG (10 bar) Liquid Tight Rating. It is made from fiber reinforced nylon plastic, for stronger resistance to impact. It meets the DIN EN 60079-0: 2012 standard. Hazardous location cable glands are ATEX approved, as they are practical for potentially explosive environments. This fitting is designated Ex-e, for increased safety. Increase flexibility by changing out the standard and reduced inserts. Sealcon patented overlapping clamping splines and recessed custom grommets protect your cable from damage and the elements. The CD50MR-BXA cord grip provides a large amount of Pull-out resistance by supplying a concentric force on all points of the cable.
