Hinged Access for Terminal and Control Wiring
The Saginaw Control & Engineering SCE-1008CHSNF continuous hinge enclosure provides access to terminal connections without a separate loose cover. The hinge runs along the shorter side and uses stainless steel hinge pins, while an outside screw clamp fastens the door.
The 0.063" carbon steel housing has an ANSI-61 gray powder coating and measures 8" H x 10.13" W x 4" D. It has no holes or knockouts, so entry locations can be arranged for the wiring layout. Ground studs are provided on both the door and body.

One SCE-1008CHSNF enclosure with subpanel mounting standoffs. The subpanel is sold separately.
⚠️ Environmental Ratings
Follow the special instructions on the enclosure door to maintain the Type 3R environmental rating. Type 3R requirements must be met for outdoor installations. Industry standard group: IS4.
