The straight Sealcon cord grips have a molded groove for O-Rings, however the snap elbows and some of the conduit fittings do not feature recess for an O-Ring. In these cases, a seal ring is the ideal choice, unless a recess can be beveled to fit an O-Ring. When a NEMA 4x or 6 (European IP 68 - submersible) rating is needed when mounting one of these control panel, use a Seal Ring and secure with a locking nut.
