The Macromatic TD-85122-41 is a Repeat Cycle ON Time Delay Relay. This programmable plug-in relay has an input voltage of 120V AC/DC at 50/60Hz and 10A DPDT output contacts. The ON and OFF timing ranges are digitally selected by two sets of 10 position binary DIP switches, from 1 to 1023 seconds. The TD8512241 uses an 8 pin 70169-D octal socket. It features an LED indicator to show the current status of the relay. It shows green when the power is on, and red once the relay is energized.

With this Repeat Cycle function, once the input voltage is introduced, the relay energizes and the ON time delay starts. After the ON time delay, the relay de-energizes for the duration of the OFF time delay. The cycle then starts over again with the ON time delay and the relay is energized. The cycle will repeat until the input voltage is taken out. There are two sets of DIP switches, one for the ON delay, and one for the OFF delay. Each DIP switch is labeled with a time increment. Move the necessary switches to the ON position and add up their labeled values to set the time delay for both the ON and OFF cycles. For example, to set the time delay for 300 seconds (5 minutes), the switches for 4, 8, 32, & 256 would be moved to the ON position.
