The Macromatic TD-80526-40 is an Interval On Time Delay Relay. This programmable plug-in relay has an input voltage of 12V DC at 50/60Hz and 10A DPDT output contacts. The timing ranges are digitally selected by 10 position binary DIP switch, from 0.1 to 102.3 seconds. The TD8052640 uses an 8 pin 70169-D octal socket. The Interval On function means that the time delay starts along with the input voltage, energizing the relay. When the time delay stops it is de-energized. In order for the time delay to be reset, the input voltage needs to be taken out. Each DIP switch is labeled with a time increment. Move the necessary switches to the ON position and add up their labeled values to set the time delay. For example, to set the time delay for 2.5 seconds, the switches for 0.1, 0.8, & 1.6 would be moved to the ON position.
