The Hirschmann GECKO 8TX (P/N: 942291-001) is an 8 port lite-managed Industrial ETHERNET Rail-Switch that features store and forward switching mode, Ethernet/Fast-Ethernet, and 8 x 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX, twisted pair RJ45 ports. It also features auto-crossing, auto-negotiation & auto polarity, and a fanless design. Rated IP 30 (Protection from objects 2.5 mm wide or larger)

  • Auto polarity exchange - If the receive line pair is incorrectly connected (RD+ and RD- switched) polarity is automatically reversed.
  • Auto-negotiation - a procedure in which the switch automatically selects the operating mode of its 10/100 RJ-45 ports.
  • Auto-crossing - automatically configures its port for the correct transmit and receive pins
  • Offers a managed switch in a compact housing
  • Low power consumption provides cost-effective operation
  • Features protocols such as SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) and RSTP (Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol)
  • Resistant to shock and vibration
