Sealcon metric M16 x 1.5 nylon plastic hazardous location cord grips are especially useful in applications that need excellent performance and fire resistance, which is accomplished without twisting the cable. Also known as cable glands or strain relief fittings, they provide a NEMA 4x & 6 (IP 68 & 69K), 150 PSIG (10 bar) Liquid Tight Rating. It is made from fiber reinforced nylon plastic, for even greater impact resistance. It meets the DIN EN 60079-0: 2012 standard. Hazardous location fittings are ATEX approved, meaning they are ideal for potentially explosive environments. This cord grip is designated Ex-e, indicating increased safety. Switching out the standard and reduced inserts increases modularity. Sealcon patented overlapping clamping splines and recessed custom grommets protect your cable from damage and the elements. The CD16MA-BXA cable gland provides a large amount of Pull-out resistance by applying concentric force on all points of the cable.
