Product Overview
The Sealcon CD09AA-TE is a PVDF liquid-tight cord grip for industrial cable entries exposed to chemicals and temperature extremes. Its PG 9 thread accepts cable outside diameters from 0.16 to 0.31 inch (4 to 8 mm). The fitting combines a PVDF body with an FPM seal for strain relief and environmental sealing.
The operating temperature range is -35°C to 150°C (-31°F to 302°F). Overlapping clamping splines and a recessed grommet apply force around the cable to provide pull-out resistance while helping protect the jacket. A vibration-resistant dome supports the assembled cable entry.
Standard and reduced inserts can be exchanged to adjust the cable opening. Sealing specifications include NEMA 4X and 6, IP68 and IP69K, a 150 psig (10 bar) pressure rating and submersion to 300 feet. Contact us about purchasing individual standard or reduced inserts.
Installation and Selection
Check the PG 9 entry, 4–8 mm cable diameter and 0.60-inch (15.2 mm) through-hole requirement. Confirm the appropriate standard or reduced insert and the 8 mm thread length. The locking nut is sold separately; contact us for individual insert options.
