Crimp contacts are optional and must match the selected insert and wire gauge. Separate contacts are not required when an insert with solder contacts is selected. Protection ratings apply only when all components are correctly assembled and fully mated.

📋 How to Configure and Order
1. Select the Housing: Choose the required flange, mounting style, thread configuration, coding option, gasket, and vibration-resistant housing features.
2. Select the Insert: Choose a compatible 17-pole male or female insert with dip-solder contacts or without contacts for crimp termination.
3. Select Crimp Contacts: If using a crimp insert, choose pin or socket contacts that match the contact diameter and conductor range. 0.08-1.5 mm² (AWG 28-16), depending on selected 1 mm contact.
4. Assemble the Connector: Use the appropriate Sealcon assembly method and compatible tooling for the selected housing and insert. Compatible crimp contacts can be inserted and removed without a dedicated contact insertion tool.
5. Verify the Connection: Confirm contact positions, conductor retention, housing assembly, mating engagement, and sealing before energizing the circuit.
