Sealcon PG 42 Nickel Plated Brass Multi-hole cable glands are used to attach wire or cable to different applications in a number of industries. This cord grip can provide a NEMA 4x (IP 65) rating, provided that the cable is not less than 80% of the diameter of the hole. The difference between the cable's diameter and the hole's diameter also cannot be more than .04" (1 mm). The NEMA 6 (IP 68) submersible rating is possible, however testing may be needed to confirm it. The ACME thread on the CD42A1BR dome top is self locking, with the overlapping splines applying an even seal. This keeps the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting & gives your cable pull-out protection so it causes no damage.
