Product Overview
The Sealcon CD09AP-BR is a nickel-plated brass multi-hole cord grip for industrial cable-entry arrangements. Its PG 9 mounting thread fits the specified 0.60-inch (15.2 mm) through hole. The solid insert allows for custom cable dimensions to suit the installation.
The fitting combines a nickel-plated brass body, Buna-N seal, nylon 6/6 splined bushing and Buna-N O-ring. A self-locking ACME dome thread drives the overlapping splines to apply even sealing force. This arrangement retains the form seal and provides cable pull-out protection.
The IP65 / NEMA 4X rating depends on the cable-to-hole fit. Each cable diameter must be at least 80% of its hole diameter, and the difference between the hole and cable diameters must not exceed 0.04 inch (1 mm). IP68 / NEMA 6 submersible performance is possible with an ideal fit; the completed arrangement may require testing to confirm that rating.

Cable-to-Hole Fit Requirements
For IP65 / NEMA 4X performance, the cable diameter must be at least 80% of the hole diameter, and the hole must be no more than 0.04 inch (1 mm) larger than the cable. Both conditions apply. IP68 / NEMA 6 requires an ideal fit and may require testing of the completed cable-entry assembly.

Suitable for multi-hole cable-entry arrangements in machinery, control enclosures and industrial equipment. The individual cable-to-hole dimensions determine whether the sealing conditions are met.
Installation and Selection
Confirm the PG 9 thread, through-hole diameter and available wrench access. Match each cable to its insert opening using both the 80% minimum-diameter rule and the 0.04-inch (1 mm) maximum difference. Order the locking nut separately if required.
