The Meltric 63-84043 DSN100 female receptacle is rated for 480V and 100A. It features 3 Poles plus ground. It has a wiring capacity of 10-2 AWG with a temperature range of -40 F to 140 F. The body is impact resistant blue thermoplastic polyester, reinforced with fiberglass. It withstands exposure to chemicals and has UV protection. The lid opens a full 180 degrees. Part of the Meltric DSN Decontactor series, the 63-84043 provides the utmost safety by eliminating exposure to arc flash. The durable construction is made to last through repeated use, without immediately needing replacements, thereby lowering costs. This power connector has a compact design that won't take up a lot of unwanted room. When attached to the compatible male inlet, it works well in wet or washdown applications in industrial environments, due to the watertight assembly. It features plug and play capability while providing a quick, easy disconnect. This also makes for more efficient operation, as it generates less downtime.

Safety shutter: Covers over contacts before plug is taken out to prevent contact with active components. Shutter is opened when the compatible plug is inserted
Spring loaded contacts: Ensures that the connection has the right amount of contact pressure. Balances out variations in construction and withstands wear and tear
Quick break mechanism: Disconnect by pushing the button, which breaks the circuit and detaches the plug.
Enclosed arc chamber: Any chance of an arc flash is kept inside. Contacts are contained within the enclosure.
Spring assisted terminals: Spring ring provides pressure on the screw terminal and conductor to create a more secure connection
