The Meltric Decontactor DSN series of circular power connectors features a lightweight design that won't take up a lot of unnecessary space. When attached to the right male inlet, the watertight design is ideal for wet or washdown applications in industrial environments. It features plug and play capability with a fast and easy disconnect, making for a more efficient operation because it creates less downtime.
Safety shutter: Closes over contacts before plug is taken out to prevent contact with active components. Shutter is opened when the compatible plug is inserted
Spring loaded contacts: Ensures that the connection has the right amount of contact pressure. Balances out variations in construction and stands up to wear and tear
Quick break mechanism: Disconnect by pushing the button, which breaks the circuit and detaches the plug.
Enclosed arc chamber: Any chance of an arc flash is kept inside. Contacts are contained within the enclosure.
Spring assisted terminals: Spring ring provides pressure on the screw terminal and conductor to create a more secure connection
