The 63-64072 is part of the Meltric Decontactor series, and is made to provide the utmost safety by reducing the risk of arc flash. The durable construction is built to last without constantly needing replacements. The DSN series of circular power connectors features a lightweight design that won't take up a lot of room. When attached to the proper male inlet, the watertight design is ideal for wet or washdown applications in industrial environments. It features plug and play capability with a fast, easy disconnect, making for a more efficient operation because it creates less downtime.
Safety shutter: Closes over contacts before plug is taken out to prevent contact with active components. Shutter is opened when the compatible plug is inserted
Spring loaded contacts: Ensures that the connection has the correct amount of contact pressure. Balances out variations in manufacturing and stands up to wear and tear
Quick break mechanism: Disconnect by pushing the button, which breaks the circuit and detaches the plug.
Enclosed arc chamber: Any chance of an arc flash is kept inside. Contacts are contained within the enclosure.
Spring assisted terminals: Spring ring provides pressure on the screw terminal and conductor to create a more secure connection
