The 63-64043, part of the Meltric Decontactor series of circular power connectors, provides the utmost safety by reducing the chances of arc flash. The durable construction is built to last, lowering costs by reducing the need for replacements. The DSN series has a lightweight design that won't take up a lot of space. When connected to the right male inlet, the watertight design is perfect in wet or washdown applications in industrial environments. It has plug and play capability with a quick and easy disconnect, making for more efficient operation because it generates less downtime.
Safety shutter: Covers over contacts before plug is taken out to prevent contact with active components. Shutter is opened when the compatible plug is inserted
Spring loaded contacts: Ensures that the connection has the right amount of contact pressure. Balances out variations in design and stands up to wear and tear
Quick break mechanism: Disconnect by pushing the button, which breaks the circuit and detaches the plug.
Enclosed arc chamber: Keeps any chance of an arc flash contained inside. Contacts are kept within the enclosure.
Spring assisted terminals: Spring ring provides pressure on the screw terminal and conductor to create a more secure connection
