Description

The Macromatic TR-51828-04 is a power triggered Watchdog Time Delay Relay. This 11 pin plug-in relay has an input voltage of 24V AC/DC at 50/60Hz, with 10A DPDT output contacts. It has an adjustable time range from 0.05 to 5 seconds, using a rotary switch. Precise settings within the time range are made using the potentiometer switch. The TR-6182U uses an 11 pin 70170-D octal socket. Note: Image is an approximation. Actual part may differ.

Macromatic TR-5 Series Relay Installation Instructions

TR-51828-04 Macromatic 24V Watchdog Time Delay Relay

Additional Product Information

With the Watchdog function, the output is energized and the time delay starts through the use of a trigger. In this case, voltage is used as a trigger. The relay becomes de-energized once the time delay stops. Re-introducing the trigger before the time delay stops keeps it energized for another cycle. The unit can stay energized for as long as it's needed, provided that the trigger is implemented before the time delay ends. Input voltage must be in place before the trigger and time delay can take effect.
