The Macromatic CMD10AD2U is a multi-function current sensing relay. This relay has an input voltage of 24-240V. This relay is designed to monitor for over or undercurrent situations, as well as monitoring within a current window, and has an output of 5A DPDT. It monitors single phase AC and DC current, in three current ranges. Maximum & minimum threshold, tripping delay, and start-up sensing delay are all adjustable via the separate dials on the housing. Commonly used to monitor for conveyor belt jams, wearing on machine tools, HVAC status, and operation sequencing.

The relay is on when the voltage is applied. The yellow LED is illuminated and the start-up delay starts, with the green LED flashing. The state of the relay does not change if the monitored current changes. After the start-up delay ends, green LED flashes in an alternating pattern if the MIN setting is set above the MAX setting. The red LED lights up when the threshold is exceeded and flashes during a tripping time delay.
