The Macromatic ARP120A6R is an alternating relay. This 8 Pin plug-in relay has a control voltage of 120V with an output of 10A SPDT. This duplexor relay is used in situations where load usage alternates between 2 loads. A control switch starts the alternating action. The output contacts on the relay change state when the initiating switch opens, so the loads alternate. It uses an 8 pin 70169-D octal socket.

The ARP120A6R features 2 LEDs that indicate which load energizes next. The unit also has a low profile selector switch to lock into one load, so only one load remains energized. This is beneficial if one load has been used more than the other, so the on-time can be balanced
