Mencom NEMA 5-15 to Locking C13 cordsets have a locking system inside that latches on to a C14 inlet. The cord then stays plugged in until it is unlocked by pulling on the red tabs on the C13 connector. The C13 plug is an IEC 60320, or simply IEC plug. They are ideally suited for medical and industrial applications, since the locking mechanism allows them to stay in place. The Mencom D-515-C13L-03 NEMA 5-15 to Locking C13 Cordset features 18 AWG / 3C SJT wire with 3 feet of cable. It has a voltage rating of 125V and a rated current of 10A.
