Sealcon M32 x 1.5 Metric Nickel Plated Brass Multi-hole Cord Grips, Strain Relief Fittings or Cable Glands are used by many different industries to connect wire and cable to various applications. This fitting provides a NEMA 4x (IP 65) rating. The cable cannot be less than 80% of the diameter of the hole to obtain that rating. There also cannot be more than .04" (1 mm). of difference between the diameter of the cable and the diameter of the hole. Achieving the submersible NEMA 6 (IP 68) rating is possible, assuming there is an ideal fit. The ACME thread on the CD32M1BR dome top is self locking and makes sure that the overlapping splines apply an even seal. The form seal is prevented from being pulled out of the fitting & gives pull-out protection to your cable so no damage is caused.
