Mencom PCG-42 gray plastic cable gland has PG 42 thread. Accommodates 1.18" - 1.5" (30 - 38 mm) cable. This cord grip, also known as a strain relief fitting, is designed to be liquid tight and can be used with ILME hoods. The PCG42 is used in many different applications and industries, as it creates a protective seal for cables that pass through enclosures. Sold Individually. Includes locknut. Rated IP 68 for protection against exposure to dust and water. Temperature Range: -20 C to 100 C. UL & CUL Recognized.

A Buna-N O-ring is included with the PCG-42 cable gland in order to attain an IP 68 rated seal against the enclosure. It is made for use with round cables, and is not intended for flat or ribbon cables. Features a wide clamping range. The IP 68 rating means that the cable gland is completely protected from dust, and can stand up to submersion in water. It has a polyamide construction, which is known for its durability, so it will be able to handle many environmental conditions. The Buna-N rubber in the O-Ring can also work under a wide temperature range and stands up to certain chemicals.
